Team Role:
Equine Assisted Therapist - Licensed Counselor - Workshop Creator and Facilitator - Director of Community Outreach
Kristen Lee, M.A., LPC, CCEAP is the Owner of My Awesome Coach and Co-Founder of Rogue Reins Ranch, where she blends evidence-based therapy, equine-assisted work, and dynamic coaching to help individuals and organizations create meaningful, results-driven change.
A licensed professional counselor, equine-assisted therapist, life coach, and sought-after workshop creator and facilitator, Kristen is known for her solution-focused approach and her ability to make growth both impactful and genuinely enjoyable.
Kristen has worked extensively with organizations such as United Way, facilitating workshops that support personal development, resilience, and community well-being. She has also served as an influencer and mental health advocate with BetterHelp, expanding access to mental health education and support through digital platforms.
Deeply committed to community engagement, Kristen serves on the Program Coordinating Committee for the Marietta Housing Authority, where she helps plan and facilitate the organization’s annual Youth Summit, empowering young people through education, connection, and leadership development.
Across all of her work, Kristen brings energy, warmth, and a results-oriented mindset... meeting people where they are, challenging them to grow, and making the process engaging, empowering, and fun.
Working with horses didn’t just reconnect me to a childhood passion... it reshaped how I heal, lead, and live.
After growing up riding and later experiencing a serious riding accident, I quite literally had to get back on the horse. Years later, in the aftermath of 2020, I returned to horses during a season of adjustment and found refuge in their calm, presence, and peace.
That return showed me what I didn’t know I was missing, and what so many people are searching for.
As a licensed mental health provider, I realized I could merge the career I love with the healing power of equine-assisted work to create something truly impactful. I believe people don’t need more distractions; they need space to sit with their thoughts in a healthy, grounded way. Horses create that space.
I don’t sugarcoat the work, and neither do they. Through this approach, I help people move beyond traditional therapy, face hard truths, achieve tangible outcomes, and show up with confidence in every space they enter.
My favorite thing about Rogue Reins is that we combine experiential therapies, performance psychology, brilliance, athleticism, and horses in a way that simply hasn’t been done before.
Nothing here is copy-and-paste. Every Rogue Ride, therapy session, retreat, or team experience is intentionally curated to meet people where they are... and take them further than they expected.
From a psychological standpoint, this matters because real change doesn’t happen through passive insight alone. It happens through experience, reflection, and meaningful feedback, and horses provide that naturally by mirroring the person working with them every single time.
At our core, Rogue Reins exists to support people who are struggling in quiet, often unseen ways. We create a holistic environment where slowing down is not about doing less, but about doing what matters with greater clarity and purpose.
Clients leave feeling lighter, happier, refreshed, and enlightened. At Rogue Reins, we believe that sometimes you have to go rogue to get right.
